Macintosh User Groups in
New Zealand is a newly formed organisation
assigned
with the task of co-ordinating the activities of member
Mac User Groups and its individual members. A conference
is held yearly hosted by a different member group each
year.
The
organisation was formed at a conference held in
Wellington over Queens Birthday weekend in early June
2002. The first executive of Graeme Moffatt as President
and David Empson as Secretary/Treasurer coming from the
host group, the Wellington Macintosh Society Inc. The
2003 conference will be held in Christchurch and hosted
by the Apple Users Group of Canterbury with the incoming
executive being appointed to the hosts.
